Historic Salem Lighthouse Getting Fresh Paint Job

It looks like Salem's Ft. Pickering Lighthouse will soon get a fresh coat of paint.

Salem's Fort Pickering Lighthouse may soon get a fresh coat of paint. 

The City Council Committee on Administration & Finance will meet at City Hall Thursday night to discuss the appropriation of $11,504.87 to be used for the painting of the Winter Island lighthouse.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., according to the posted agenda.
