Salem Academy Charter School Looking for Tutors

Here are the five things you need to know before you start your day in Salem.


Today is Thursday, Dec. 19, and here are the five things you need to know: 

1. It should feel a bit warmer out there in Salem today. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be partly sunny, with a high near 36. Tonight should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. (sunrise, 7:08 a.m.; high tide, 12:11p.m.; sunset, 4:12 p.m.; low tide, 6:28 p.m.)

2. The Salem Academy Charter School is looking for qualified volunteers to provide tutoring services to students grades 6 through 12 who need additional time and support on grade-level content and skills. 5. Today in History: On Dec. 19, 1998, President Bill Clinton was impeached by the US House of Representatives, making him the second President of the United States to be impeached.
