Local Children Step Aboard the North Pole Express
Local children recently took a train ride to the 'North Pole'.
The Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Company recently treated more than 600 underserved children and their families to a magical North Pole Express train ride.
Children wearing pajamas and parents boarded trains decked in holiday regalia for a ride to the North Pole where Santa greeted every child with presents!
Along the way, many local personalities, including Olympic Gold Medalist Kayla Harrison and Boston’s First Lady Angela Menino read the famous “Polar Express” book to the children.
