In this season of giving, we're spotlighting local online fundraising efforts.
Ever since Kay was young she's wanted to travel abroad to volunteer and help others in need and now she has an opportunity to travel to Africa and teach English.
"I am going for the month of August 2014. All donations go towards the money owed to the organization sending me on the tripwww.Ifrevolunteers.org based out of Texas. Donations cover the flight ticket, housing, food, vaccinations and airport travel."
