Salem residents recycle electronics for free the last Saturday of each month. Drop off at the DPW, 5 Jefferson Ave., from 8AM-noon. Enter via the Police Station parking lot, and follow the orange cones to the DPW building next door.

Acceptable items include nearly everything with a plug, electronics and small appliances, mercury content items, and fluorescent bulbs (both CFLs and tubes). Please limit TVs and CRT monitors to 2 items / month. White goods, 1 item / month. No limit on all other items.
