The Marble Faun Books & Gifts opened last week on Essex Street in Salem.

The store specializes in vintage books, collectibles and decorative items.

The shop is located at 131-1 Essex St., next to Comida Mexican Taqueria.

The Marble Faun's hours of operation are not yet set, though the owner said it will be closed on Mondays.
