New Salem Workspace Catering to Home-Based Businesses

A business catering to local freelancers, work-from-home professionals and small businesses will open soon on New Derby Street.

Working from home certainly has its perks - but sometimes it takes a desk, an office chair and a good pot of coffee to really get down to brass tacks.

For many work-from-home professionals, getting out of the home office and into a workspace where you can shoot the breeze with others in your field or host a round-table with coworkers is essential.

That's the hope of Launch Cooperative, a new workspace opening at 20 New Derby St. later this month aimed at providing a open work environment for freelancers, start-ups and small businesses.
