We are smarter than everyone else. The higher your IQ, the more likely you are a liberal! Unless you are wealthy, then you vote for your money. We know it takes two times as much water to produce one bottle of water, never mind the problem of what to do with all the plastics in our oceans and landfills. We also know that it is better for everyone to fill up a reusable bottle and carry it with you. Even though your GOP wants to let our drinking water be contaminated because it's good for businesses.

ReplyFor a short time I was a social conservative but instead I watched Presidents Reagan, Bush I and Bush II create deficit after deficit. I believed the hype and thought the GOP was for fiscal responsibility but it turns out that was just pillow talk. History has proven that was a myth. The GOP is now a bunch of withered old white men clinging to keeping God in government and demonizing the less fortunate, sprinkled with hypocrites, closeted gays, and under qualified hockey moms. They fell so far to the right on every single social issue that it's hard for a reasonable person to vote for them.

My in-laws watch Fox News and my thirteen year old is constantly correcting them when they get stuff wrong. It's embarrassing how stupid they have become in their retirement. They were complaining that Obama's kids get secret service detail and vacations and Bush's kids didn't. Seriously, that's what they learn from Fox.

Let's have prayer in school. Buddhist prayer though. Or Hindu or Islamic. Anything but Christianity and see how Christians feel about it. Because they are all for prayer when it is "Praise Jesus!"
For all you posters who think MA taxes are too high, why do you stay? You hate liberals you hate taxes, you hate hate hate. Here's a thought: MOVE! Seriously just get out of MA and try on Tennessee or Mississippi for size. I bet it's a great fit! Lower taxes, more neocons. Pack your bags!

I get most of my news from the AP wire and the BBC. I also watch C-span during the day if I am home. I never watch Fox or MSNBC, sometimes I'll watch NECN but mostly for the weather (or if something big happens like Mayor Menino breaks his leg.) Try getting your news from these sources and be prepared to be shocked.
