I've been here 61 years next month Daniel and yes that is a tough job bringing all together I know I have had many success at doing so, and believe me it's a tough job for one man but it's all worth the work it takes and I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!

I agree with Mark and Jim bottom line!, and also our seniors have enough trouble putting out one item to be picked up are they supposed to carry the bin out with just one bottle in it so their house hold trash will be picked up I say bull crap, and what about health issues with the trash just hanging around remember we DO! have a RAT! problem in this city. how soon they forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes there is a Rat! problem in Salem, this past summer and fall my neighbors and i have seen them not only at night but in the day time also, i called the health Department talked to some one on two phone calls and was told that some one in charge of this would get back to me and never did, these Rats were every wear even around children which concerned me the most, i think feed back should be given to the caller no matter who they are and this should also be brought up at the council meeting for an answer, i told whom ever i spoke to that i was even willing to do a walk through the neighborhood to show them were they are but you guest it read above, i am going to contact my councilor and make sure that this question gets asked before entertaining any monies!!!!!!.
Just a note a tax payer feels a-lot better when he or she gets answers when asked after all we pay for this service, you don't get the service you DON'T PAY THE BILL!!

Chris if you want to put in a complaint it is the Director of public properties (Building inspector) you have to contact, i know this issue to well and have been fighting it since before 2000, and it's not just the side walks that are at issue here, what about morons pushing snow into the streets from their drive ways and parking lots, this takes parking away and makes it hard for emergency vehicles to pass remember every second counts, plus i have shoveled the fire hydrant in front of my house for over the last 50 years, it is very important that we do our part as neighbors to have a more enjoyable neighborhood and city, and one more very important thing here how about our senior who may live next door, some can't shovel because of their age my neighbors and i see to it that they are taken care of they can't afford to be fined they have to think of all the cost they have just to get by and we love helping them it really makes us feel really good too! just a thought!
