ReplyI agree with Pamela C. Most news reports show that the cicadas will be present in the mid-Atlantic state area, i.e. Virginia, and going up as far north as Connecticut. Most of the New England states were not shown to be affected. Let's hope they're right!

ReplyOpen burning is NOT allowed in Salem. With the warmer weather coming, you will probably see a lot of this. Just call the Fire Dept, and they will also speak to them about it. When it's very dry out, like now, it could turn into a serious situation.

ReplySounds interesting, and good luck to the new owners! Look forward to checking it out. What I think would go over is a soup of the day (esp chowders and french onion w/cheese), 1/2 sandwich combos, and big salads.
