ReplyIf you're looking for a topic to research, I'd love it if you covered Rebecca Cabot in a future blog post. She was one of the original Salem Athenaeum sharemembers, and I am the holder of her share now. I'd love to know more about her. Thank you!

ReplyI hope you plan on posting some non-meat entrees in your contests. I have no hope of ever guessing if you post only meat meals!

Raising trees can be environmentally sound, and good business. Buying a real tree, especially one you can replant in the spring, is certainly a more green option than an artificial tree. But of course, the best option is not to buy a tree in the first place.

ReplyYou can at least see the full deck if you use her Grand Tableau generator. http://dev.sassysibyl.com/grandtableau/
Click one of the two picture icons in the top left corner - one shows this deck, and one shows the Postmark deck.
So sorry you weren't able to buy a copy before it sold out! But I'm glad she will have it published by a larger press and have it more available.

ReplyJared, thank you for all you do to improve our neighborhood. I live on Beacon Ave, which runs between Lathrop St and Beacon St, and I've been very interested in the plans for all the side streets on our side of Bridge St. Only the first quarter of each side street has gotten new pavement, to even out the surface around access hole covers, leaving the rest of the road in pitted condition. Thanks for dropping the note in my mailbox with contact info for all the people who might be able to influence the plan; I intend on contacting all of them today.

ReplyI agree with John Moynihan. I'm not sure why we expect the T to pay for itself, when we publicly fund many other projects that serve the public good. We don't expect kindergarten to pay for itself, for instance. Why the T?
