ReplySo sad all the foreclosures, the millions of families forced into homeless shelters or even out onto the streets by this great recession, the unscrupulous lenders , bankers and some realtors, and this tragedy on top of it all, while the big banks get bailouts and big CEOs get multi-million-dollar "performance" pay raises from our tax dollars. But the stock market is doing the best ever.

ReplyI couldn't tell what this doc is about so I read www.thebigpicturemovie.com/artist_statement/
So at least one in FOUR of us have a learning disability. Here is the site's brief synopsis:"The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia provides personal and uplifting accounts of the dyslexic experience from children, experts and iconic leaders, such as Sir Richard Branson and financier Charles Schwab. Directed by James Redford, the film not only clears up the misconceptions about the condition, but also paints a picture of hope for all who struggle with it.Shining a spotlight on the latest scientific and psychological research, the film also highlights the work of Drs. Sally and Bennett Shaywitz, co-founders and co-directors of the Yale Center of Dyslexia and Creativity to illuminate the hidden origins and implications of dyslexia. Proving that dyslexia is a neurological issue and not a character flaw, The Big Picture beautifully illustrates that while the condition is an obstacle, it also carries some unique advantages, and ultimately can be overcome."

Some things solve themselves; but most, like laundry and dishes, housekeeping and garbage, need continual effort. Is that not true? Join your neighborhood association or start one, be active and proactive, and invite the police to meet with you. And replant.
