U.S. Senate Candidate Stephen Lynch Swings Through Salem

Congressman Stephen Lynch's tour of the North Shore Friday included a couple of stops in downtown Salem.

US Senate Candidate Congressman Stephen Lynch made a couple of stops in downtown Salem Friday evening during a North Shore tour that began in Peabody and ended in the city of Lynn. After stopping by Bingo night at St. John the Baptist Church, Lynch made his way to the Salem Fire Department where he met with city councilors and sat down with local firefighters in an upstairs breakroom. JohnBrown, no offense taken. Public employee unions have taken their lumps but again I see it as Police, Teachers, Firefighters....some of the most important people in the community, and all taxpayers I might add.
