Salem, Beverly to Collaborate on Solid Waste and Recycling Contracts
Salem and Beverly are collaborating on their solid waste and recycling contracts.
The following information was submitted by Julie Rose, the Business Manager of Salem's Engineering Department: The cities of Salem and Beverly announced Wednesday that they are collaborating on their solid waste and recycling collection and transportation contracts. The cities released the bid packages on Monday and now vendors will bid on Solid Waste and Recycling collection and transportation for both cities, along with operation of the compost facility for Beverly. Bidders will be required to submit three sets of bid price pages: stand-alone pricing for each city and pricing for each city if vendor is awarded both contracts.
