Opus Projects Mid-June Opening in Downtown Salem

A new high-end restaurant is expected to open in the heart of downtown Salem this summer.

Opus, a new upscale restaurant in downtown Salem, is expected to open for business on Washington Street in mid-June, the owner said Friday morning. Mark McDonough, owner of the Serenitee Restaurant Group, said the restaurant officially obtained a building permit Friday and the target opening date is just two months away. McDonough was also pleased to report that the business' website is now up and running - and encouraged local residents to stop by to learn more about the restaurant's concept, menu and layout.
