Saturday Parking Free for the Holidays in Salem
Local shoppers will be able to park for free in downtown Salem this holiday season.
The following press release was issued by Mayor Kimberley Driscoll's Chief Administrative Aide, Jason Silva: Mayor Kimberley Driscoll is pleased to announce that the City of Salem will be offering free parking for up to 4 hours at a time at all meters in downtown on Saturdays during the holiday season. Starting this Saturday, Dec. 8, visitors to downtown Salem will be able to park for free for up to 4 hours at a time at any metered parking space in the downtown. This includes both on-street metered spaces and metered spaces in parking lots.
