Should Salem Implement Longer School Days?

There will be a 'Salem Public Schools Turnaround Update' tonight at Collins Middle School.

A crowd is expected to attend tonight's Salem Public Schools Turnaround Update at Collins Middle School. The meeting, scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m., is expected to feature addresses from Mayor Kimberley Driscoll and Superintendent of Schools Stephen Russell. Clearly,I said nothing about teachers. It is a failure of the administration as the state indicated when Salem was reviewed for financial help. I have two children that have gone through the Salem schools and have done very well. Blaming the parents is rediculous. The problem is the mayor,that's what's going on.   more ›
