Glenn, I agree. However, it seems that the majority of comments/commentors on all the previous "what should go in [place]'s old space" go on anti-witch shop rants and pretty much want them ALL gone, including the ones that have been on Essex Street for years. 3 Potato 4 Goes to Vegas and Beyond

Outlets report the business is considering expansion to other cities as well.

3 Potato 4 may be a fresh addition to Salem, but it's already shooting for the moon. The Salem-based business is planning to expand to Boston, according to the Boston Business Journal. Possible locations for the business include the Prudential Center, the W Hotel and the Theater District, the outlet reports. Boston Magazine reports the business may head to other cities including New Orleans, NYC and Vegas. Speaking of Sin City, 3 Potato 4 launched a "satellite space station" at the Downton 3rd, a famers market, in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, according to the business website. 'Avalanche' Comes to Front Street

A new shop dedicated to outwear will join the Front Street business family during an official ribbon-cutting today.

Editor's Note: Monday's Ribbon Cutting was cancelled Monday morning. Avalanche will officially join the Front Street business scene today at 2 p.m. at a ribbon-cutting with Mayor Kim Driscoll. The business specializes in outerwear and activewear including fleece, according to the business Facebook page, and has a corporate office on Congress Street. The new company store with be located at 24 Front St. — the former location of Sweet Anthem and Fiddlehead. The company has a factory outlet location in Lynn. Salem Arthur Ingemi and his team are building a village where residents and visitors of any and all tastes can find food, drink and an atmosphere that hits the spot. Village Tavern Aims to Satisfy Variety of Tastes

The new Salem restaurant, which also has a full liquor license, will open soon.

Arthur Ingemi and his team are building a village where residents and visitors of any and all tastes can find food, drink and an atmosphere that hits the spot. The Village Tavern Grill & Oyster Bar is putting finishing touches on its restaurant, which is slated to open in the space on the pedestrian mall where Lakay Island was previously located. Ingemi said he's just waiting for the "final sign-offs" from the city before he opens.
