The program plans to expand its reach, seeking to open up additional after-school care programs in Salem's public schools for the 2010 - 2011 year. Aside from offering after-school care, For Kids Only Afterschool also hosts an annual summer camp based out of The Peabody Line Church.

Services include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and vision and mobility training. Though the Center is a part of Salem Public Schools, a monthly tuition is required to compensate for the cost of supplies. Students are selected through a screening process with members of the Early Childhood Center staff.

Founded in 1804 and originally located on Federal Street, First Baptist Church of Salem settled into its new home onMore Lafayette Street in July 2007. Led by Rev. Dr. Renee P. Keels, services are held Sundays at 10:30a. (10am during the summer months). First Baptist Church of Salem offers Bible study on Wednesday evenings from September to June, as well as spiritual maturity workshops and programs. In addition, church volunteers are working with the Salem Public School system to develop a program that assists parents in helping their children to be academically successful.
