A popular destination for bicyclists, swimmers, campers, kids and parents, Winter Island Maritime Park is host to a number of activities. Those looking for activity will enjoy bicycling to the park in the summer months, swimming at Waikiki Beach or heading off into the water from the boat launch. Those who enjoy more laid back activities will enjoy lounging on the beach and walks to historic Pickering Fort Lighthouse. Winter Island is a stop on the Salem Trolley Tour.
