Can't beat the Lobster Rolls, Pulled Pork is amazing...even the darn Hotdogs are amazing!

Pulled Pork sandwich - epic.....Italian sandwich - delicious and those are the only 2 I have tried so far, so I'm 2 for 2...............couple that with the service and friendly attitudes along side a gorgeous ocean front location and you can't beat it. Go now, do it!!!
Great location, great sandwiches and great owners! Whether it's swinging in for a quick sandwich on lunch break or to grab a cool drink walking around the town...The Hungry Whale is the best! Plus they have some great shopping....I get much use out of my great cooler bag and Red Sox tee!
The Hungry Whale is a great place for an after dinner ice cream if you are in Pickering Warf. The owners are great guys and love to chat with the customers. I always leave there laughing, they make you feel like friends. Also, try the Pulled Pork hot dog, top notch!!!
Friendliest service in town and the store has everything you can imagine. I can't wait for the renovations.

A Gem in the middle of downtown Salem at Pickering Wharf! My favorite spot to stop in for a delicious sandwich, while always receiving friendly service. A must Visit while in Salem. Keep up the good work!

The Hungry Whale is our favorite place for sandwiches & ice cream in Salem! It has a fantastic location on the harbor. The lobster rolls are the best we've ever had! There's also great home made pulled-pork sandwiches, made at 4:30 am each day
. There are so many delicious combinations of sandwiches. The ice cream is fantastic! And to top it off, the Mattera brothers are so friendly and make you feel at home. You should not miss this stop while in Salem.
