Located at the northernmost tip of Salem, The Black Lobster was formerly known as Stromberg's Restaurant. A series of renovations by new owners have transformed the restaurant from its original 1929 form. At The Black Lobster, you can enjoy seafood and American cuisine either inside or out on the deck with a view of the water. There are two bars: one inside and one on the back patio. Also, Thursday through Sunday, the restaurant features live music in the evenings -- usually reggae or classic rock. There is even a small dock in the back if you feel like coming to the restaurant by boat.
