I broke down in Salem this past week. A mom with two kids in a city 3 hours from home. I drove my shaking vehicle down a road which lead me to Santisi's Garage. The owner Jon was working on a vehicle and I approached him and explained my situation. He took a look at my car and said I could not possibly make the 3 hour drive home, it was not something that was going to be a quick fix. He could however fix it in the morning. Putting my full trust in Jon, in a city which I knew no one, I had no choice but to leave my vehicle and walk to a hotel with my children for the night. The next morning, right when he said he would, he called me and informed me that he needed a little more time on my car. He found the part needed, fixed my car and was my Hero from Salem!
I want everyone to know, this man did a very nice deed for a stranger and was able to help get me home as soon as he could.
I will truly forever be grateful to Jon for his kindness, he went the extra mile for someone, stayed late to work on my vehicle and then searched the next morning for the part he needed. He was very busy, but took the time to help me and my family. I want the world to know what a terrific job he did, and the kindness he showed by helping me and my children.
