My wife and I booked a Saturday 10am narrated cruise on their website during the prior morning.When we booked our tickets, our ticket confirmation stated we could pick up our tickets at 8:50 at the ticket booth. We were excited when we arrived at 8:30 to see the OPEN flag hanging by the ticket booth, but we were not happy when we didn’t find anyone inside. We waited and waited. Two employees walked past us down to the boat, but didn’t say anything to us, so we naturally thought everything was ok and they were just running behind this morning.Around 9:30, my wife called the main Mahi Mahi phone number to ask if anyone was going to show up to the ticket booth. The person on the phone said that we, meaning my wife and me, called at 1:38am to cancel our booking and since we were the only two to purchase tickets for the cruise, they canceled the cruise all together. My wife told the person on the phone we didn’t cancel the tickets and the person only reiterated her prior statement. This would have been our first cruise with Mahi Mahi, who in their right mind would ever attempt another one after this experience?? The fact that the two Mahi Mahi employees didn’t say a word when they saw us standing by the ticket booth really speaks volumes about the entire operation. Mahi Mahi did offer to put us on the 1pm cruise (not for free, of course), but I’m not going to stand in the hot humid weather for another 3.5 hours to take a cruise that could also be canceled without notice.
