This is the best ice cream is Salem. Great ice cream that is local and served by friendly folks in the heart of the waterfront district, Captain Dusty's is our family's favorite. Great jumping off spot for a walk out Derby Wharf or place to go after a great meal at the Pig's Eye across the street. You'd have to go to Round Top Ice Cream in Damariscotta, Maine for better!

My favorite ice cream in Salem. They also make a really refreshing fruit smoothie- I think it has blended lemon sorbet, soda water and fruit.
