Grandfather brought me there in the 50's still not bad!

I was there recently and got the impression it has new owners.

have to agree with Edward...not the same as it used to be at all! The shrimp doesn't even come close to what it used to be...In fact I've tried it 3 times in the past year and there is no seafood flavor at all....just breading and oil flavor...so said! Was a favorite for many many years!

It is not the same as it was the past.

When Bob's was originally on the other side of Highland Avenue (where Dunkin' Donuts is now), the food was nothing short of excellent, everything from the seafood, to the fried chicken, to the toasted tuna rolls on the grill, everything was superb! Top-notch!

Since Bob's reopened on the other side of Highland Avenue to its current location, the food has not been the same, in my opinion. The product in which the seafood is now fried in, seems to be different than what they used at their original location and to me, the seafood just does not taste the same as it once did.

If I felt it was the same, believe me, I would give them 5 stars, no question.

Everyone has different tastes, so I'm sure other opinions may be different.
