3. Get a New Book: SalemRecycles, the city's Recycling Committee, will hold its eighth free book swap on Saturday. The event will take place at the Senior Center on Broad Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

5. 7 Lectures at 7 Gables Continues: This weekend's lecturer will be Robyn Kanter, of Kanter Design Associates, who worked under Dan Foley when he re-landscaped the Seven Gables garden and has remained true to its vision.
