Weekend Agenda: Take Your Turn on the Trapeze

1. 3. Get a New Book: SalemRecycles, the city's Recycling Committee, will hold its eighth free book swap on Saturday. The event will take place at the Senior Center on Broad Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

4. Salem's Free Concert Series: Salem's Free Summer Concert Series will continue this weekend at Peabody Street Park. This week's concert, scheduled to run from 3 to 6 p.m., will feature a performance by Demented Poets Society. Click Here for all the details. 

5. 7 Lectures at 7 Gables Continues: This weekend's lecturer will be Robyn Kanter, of Kanter Design Associates, who worked under Dan Foley when he re-landscaped the Seven Gables garden and has remained true to its vision. She will tell the story of a garden that is one of the oldest on the North Shore, and arguably one of the oldest anywhere. Admission is free, call 978-744-0991 x104 for reservations.
