3. Head Down to the New England Aquarium: Consider a trip to the New England Aquarium in Boston this weekend. Thanks to a grant from the Norman H. Read Charitable Trust, all Salem residents will be admitted into the New England Aquarium for free during the month of September. That is nearly a $100 value for most families. Summer Concert Series Continues: Salem's summer concert series will continue Sunday at Peabody Street Park beginning at 3 p.m. Performing this weekend will be Around the Bend, an acoustic folk-rock ensemble that incorporates well-blended harmonies with an eclectic mix of acoustic instruments. Click Here for more details about the concert. 5. Eat Some Ice Cream: The Woman's Friend Society will host an ice cream social Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. to benefit the Emmerton House.
