Salem's Wharf, A Bit of Magic Well Worth You're Time!

Every city and town has its own secretive section where you can encounter a special character that makes it an especially enjoyable place to spend your time. In some places it’s a downtown thoroughfare. In others it’s the cobblestone side streets with those envision enhancing shuttered shops that you just cannot keep your eyes from wandering for the pleasantry itself! Then there are those places that are so different that you can’t help but to go there because the mere act of visiting is an absolute pleasure for the senses!

One such place that always settles my core and fills me with a sense of gratitude for the sun in the sky and the scents in the air is the Wharf District of Salem! Fortunately “the Wharf” as I refer to it is a place that I have the opportunity to frequent for particular reasons. Every time I find myself yet again passing across Derby Street from the front of Pyramid Books and then entering the roundabout of the Wharf circular, it always stands as succulent to the energy of my senses where suddenly I feel the waves of calm and a positive energy pass through me from this place!

The sidewalks almost seem as if they are actually welcoming you to please take another step as you slowly saunter your way toward the welcoming scent of the sea that is just opposite form the rooftops of the handsome grey buildings that make up the whole neighborhood!

It’s always a rule that if you allow yourself the luxury of both time and tactile passage and you do a good amount of window gazing into the front of the craftsman styled shops along your way, you will inevitably find yourself entering every attractive store one after the other.

If there was nothing better it could hardly ever be described except to say that the wide ranging offerings presented by each special place you find is only augmented by the smiles and genuine welcoming nature you will encounter from the staffs and the owners occupying their places behind the counters!

From silver and coin dealers, to books and hats then across the street to “Magika”, a magical center of spirit owned by one of Salem’s own most iconic of figures Lori Bruno herself! As you continue your way through you will encounter marvelous specialty Clothiers, magnificent antique shops, and if you’re at the right time of the day you can even partake of the wonderful offerings of food and libation at one of several of Salem’s absolutely finest of Restaurants, Finz or Captain’s Waterfront Grill and Pub!

Once you have enjoyed your fine dining delicacy you may then decide to add to the experience of the day or the evening by getting a psychic reading from one of the numerous psychic mediums that occupy the Wharf District including Lori Bruno at Magika or one of her magnificent Psychics, or you may choose to visit “Enchanted” a newer addition to the Wharf section where you may just have the opportunity to meet and receive a reading from the Official Witch of Salem herself, Laurie Cabot!

The offerings of the Wharf scene can literally occupy an entire afternoon or an evening of your time if you so desire!

After you have received your reading and trekked your way up the avenue, now might be the time go wander your way to the green and blue seaside and visit the tremendous Ship the “Spirit of Salem” that announces its presence by the masts that greet your vision against the seaside sky!

Once you have spent an afternoon or an evening in the Wharf section of Salem you will then understand what everybody has been talking about when they say that there is something very special about Salem and its iconic neighborhood character!

Without ever a single doubt in my mind, I always get something special added to my life from visiting “the Wharf” again and again, and no matter how many times I go there even if it’s just to take a walk and get a bit of exercise for myself, or to grab a cup of specialty coffee, this place always leaves me feeling centered and smiling! Isn’t that worth a visit?

As I mentioned before, every city and town has something about it that is worthy of a poem or a passage trying to describe its eloquence!

The Wharf district of the City of Salem is just this sort of place! If you doubt this or if you wish to inject a bit of the feeling of peaceful resilient solitude available in a place, come down and visit the Wharf Section of Salem!

Trust me when I say that you won’t regret one single moment of your time spent!

Love, light and the brightest of blessings along your way today!
