Salem Little League's 2014 Opening Day Parade and Ceremony will be held Sunday, April 27th.
The players will meet at the Salem Sate University O'Keefe Center parking lot at 10:15, and begin the parade at about 10:45. The parade will head towards O'Grady Field at Forest River Park, arriving at approximately 11 AM for the opening ceremony, which will last approximately an hour.
At 12 oclock, the opening day games will begin with the Giants playing the Dodgers at 12 noon, followed by the Reds and Diamondbacks at 2pm.
The league is also honoring all past Little League players that are serving or have served in the US Armed forces. If you are a past league player in the armed services or a veteran and would like to particpate in the ceremony, please contact Pat Chasse, League President at (978) 807-3464
