So, the nearest locations are Haverhill and Cambridge. Why would anyone want to bring any more traffic to Salem? The most logical place for this would be Cennteniel Dr in Peabody.

Great just what Salem needs - NOT! There is too much congestion in Salem now, but this will only bring more congestion. I guess it doesn't matter what Salemites think or want since its already a done deal. Thank you for whoever is responsible for this (insert sarcasm).

The last I read they were looking to be located over by the transfer station/Swampscott Road, anyone have further info on the location?

Uhhh...congestion? What are you people talking about? How would this bring any more traffic than any other business opening here?

Get a life! Medical use is accepted professionally and legally. Location is needed and should be and probably will be expanded. Never used it and hopefully, never will have to.

They are looking to put the dispensary @50 Grove St. To comment on the traffic congestion,it's only going to get worse in Salem, especially in the area of Blubber Hollow. Developers are getting huge variances to build in Salem. I have complained to the Mayor about Salem not having a major traffic plan and they just don't care. They look at each development separately. There are also plans to change the road designs to handle the added traffic.

Congratulations Kim for having the foresight on this concept while our mayor over here in "Billboard City" stuck his head in the sand.

It's about time we get this. For all of you in doubt, please educated yourselves. This is not a good thing, it's a GREAT thing!

I don't have a problem with medical use but why is this so good for Salem? Like many other legal drugs people will be trying to sell it on the street

Why isn't it kept in the medical community, as a part of Salem Hospital perhaps. Perhaps the Police station where things could be easily monitored. Just a place to pick up your script. There won't be smoking or sampling rooms, right. In and out and done. Plus, these locations will need to be housed in forrtresses to prevent break ins and heists of deliveries.

notice how comments toward public officials or any opposing criticism are removed. free speech is all about it and worst part is our tax dollars and meal tax all those things pay for these forums. that location is bad the will def be more crime. I think the sheriffs dept should be in control of it.
