Important Local Phone Numbers to Print Out Before Hurricane Sandy

Here's a quick list of important phone numbers to have handy in Peabody during Hurricane Sandy. Print the list now -- while you have power -- and make sure your cell phone is charged so you are ready if the power goes out.

In an emergency, always call 911. A call from a landline in Peabody will go directly to the Emergency Control Center at the Peabody Police Department. Ann, there is no trash pick up today. The city just sent out an alert on that.

This is EXCELLENT -- thanks so much for thinking ahead for the things we really need to have at our fingertips. Readers should have a car charger going just in case we lose power and/or phone and they need to use their cells... a dead cellphone is not much use.
