Driscoll, Tierney Volunteer in Salem During Federal Shutdown

Mayor Kimberley Driscoll was among the volunteers working an information booth in Salem Sunday morning.

Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll spent part of her Sunday volunteering at an information tent near the entrance to the National Park Service Visitor Center, which has been closed as a result of the federal shutdown.

Driscoll greeted more than 100 visitors and was joined by Congressman John Tierney, who also volunteered some time, according to a release.

The photos above, taken by John Andrews of Social Palates, were submitted by Dominick Pangallo Sunday evening.
