Chat Live With State Senate Candidate Edward Carroll

Carroll, a retired county deputy sheriff and former governor's councilor, will be chatting live with readers Friday from noon to 1 p.m.

State Senate candidate Edward Carroll will be joining us on Friday at noon for a live chat with readers.

If you have any questions for Carroll on his bid for the 2nd Essex District seat, which represents Salem, Peabody, Beverly, Danvers and Topsfield, this is a great opportunity to get those questions answered.

Be sure to head on over to our homepage between noon and 1 p.m. on Aug. 31 to join our chat. You simply have to provide your name and you'll be able to ask your questions immediately.

Be sure to mark your calendar today. Questions submitted, as always, will be subject to moderator approval. No vulgar or libelous comments will be allowed.

Due to the fact that we expect a high volume of questions for that hour, we will keep the questions issue-related and not repetitive. If you join the chat late, please take a minute to scroll through the questions and answers so far to see if your question has already been addressed.

If you won't be able to join us Friday afternoon, leave your question for Carroll in the comments section below and we'll do our best to include it in the chat if time allows.

We've also had live chats with  and . We'll also be chatting with.
