Salem Woman Among Six Arrested in State Police Drug Bust

A local woman was among six state residents arrested for drug distribution following a traffic stop in Brighton Saturday morning.

A Salem woman was among the six people arrested early Saturday morning following state police traffic stop in Brighton that uncovered cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.

At 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Trooper Matthew Clark of the State Police Barracks in Brighton reportedly stopped a motor vehicle for speeding and failing to stop for a stop sign on Rugg Road in Brighton.

The operator, Brian Poitras, 27, of Lynn, was arrested after a query search revealed that his driver’s license had been revoked for various traffic offenses.

While speaking with the passengers of the vehicle after the arrest, Clark reportedly recovered "11 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of methamphetamine, under an ounce of marijuana and other items, including a scale and numerous glass vials," according to the release. 

Poitras was arrested and charged with possession to distribute methamphetamine, possession to distribute cocaine, possession to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Kristen Hosman, 29, of Salem, was charged with possession to distribute methamphetamine, possession to distribute cocaine, possession to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Victor Cordino, 29, of Allston, was charged with possession to distribute methamphetamine, possession to distribute cocaine, possession to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Cameron Linehan, 22, of Somerville, charged with possession to distribute methamphetamine, possession to distribute cocaine, possession to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

While being placed under arrest, Cordino reportedly requested that troopers notify his roommates on Rugg Road in Allston that he had been arrested.

When police arrived at the home, they were reportedly met with "a strong odor of trash and stale alcohol and observed trash and empty alcohol containers strewn across the floor."

Four people were later located living inside what appeared to be "a musical rehearsal space that was not fit as a residence," two of whom were arrested.

Paige Hamm, 18, of Bridgewayer, was charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine). 

Agalov Vsevolod, 23, of Ashland was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. 

All six are expected to appear today in Brighton District Court for arraignment.
