Salem Stabbing Suspect Arrested With Knife Earlier This Month

The suspect in a double-stabbing at Salem State University Wednesday morning was arrested in Salem earlier this month.


Salem police continue to search the area for Timothy Wells, 25, of Woburn, following a double-stabbing on a Salem State University shuttle bus Wednesday morning

Wells was reportedly arrested by Salem police at Bertram Field on Sept.3 and was found to be in possession of a knife, according to this police log post.

  • At 11:25 p.m., police responded to a report of trespassing at Bertram Field. Timothy G. Wells, 24, of 5 Curtis Road, Woburn, was arrested on charges of trespassing and possessing a large knife. Wells was reportedly caught jumping the fence to the field.
