Salem Police Make Drug Arrest on Canal Street

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 


Friday, Jan. 10
:

  • At 4:45 p.m., police responded to a reported domestic assault and battery on Endicott Street. Bryna C. Rudolph, 33, of 48 Endicott St., Salem, was arrested on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and five counts of domestic assault and battery.
  • At 5:10 p.m., police responded to a road rage incident on Margin Street.
  • At 8:46 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Canal Street. Anthony F. Albano, 43, of 14 Newbury St., Revere, was arrested on charges of illegally possessing a class A substance (heroin) and illegally possessing a class B substance (Percocet).
  • At 9:40 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Grove Street.

Saturday, Jan. 11

  • At 12:11 a.m., police responded to a past assault on Highland Avenue.
  • At 1:00 a.m., police responded to a report of a found backpack on Derby Street.
  • At 5:58 a.m., police responded to a medical overdose on Grove Street.
  • At 10:17 a.m., police responded to a report of nails in the road on Holyoke Square.
  • At 12:23 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Perkins Street.
  • At 12:48 p.m., police responded to a report of possible gunshots near the intersection of Hayes and McKinley roads.
  • At 1:26 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen package on Chestnut Street.
  • At 4:38 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Dow Street.
  • At 6:31 p.m., police responded to a dispute between neighbors on Congress Street.
  • At 8:29 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break- in on Highland Avenue.
  • At 8:29 p.m., police made an arrest on Washington Street. Jose W. Fortuna, 21, of 292 Washington St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 11:14 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Lafayette Street.

Sunday, Jan. 12

  • At 12:04 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious man looking into cars on Lafayette Street.
  • At 1:52 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Washington Street.
  • At 2:25 a.m., police conducted a well-being check near the intersection of North and Lynde streets.
  • At 8:36 a.m., police responded to a report of malicious destruction of property on Sewall Street.
  • At 9:36 a.m., police responded to a dog complaint on Commercial Street.
  • At 9:49 a.m., police responded to a report of a past vehicle break-in on Butler Street.
  • At 10:14 a.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Gardner Street.
  • At 12:00 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Mason Street.
  • At 12:25 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Dunlap Street.
  • At 1:55 p.m., police made an arrest near the intersection of Derby and Lafayette streets. Mark R. Shorey, 29, of 21 Essex St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 2:19 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Highland Avenue.

Other Arrests:

Lucillia Amado, 42, of 13 Clarence St., Everett, was arrested on charges of assault and battery and malicious destruction of property valued above $250.

Amanda L. Burgess, 32, of 100 Willow St., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250.

Wendy J. Owie, 52, of 100 Willow St., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise by concealment, second subsequent offense.
