Tires Slashed Overnight on Palmer Street

Thursday, Sept. 19

  • At 4:27 p.m., police responded to a dispute on Prince Street.
  • At 4:46 p.m., police responded to a dispute between a landlord and tenant on High Street.
  • At 5:30 p.m., police responded to a reported fight on Balcomb Street.
  • At 5:48 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Market Basket on Highland Avenue. Luis O. Santos, 36, of 604 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250.
  • At 6:19 p.m., a woman called police to report losing a $1,500 watch somewhere on Essex Street.
  • At 6:49 p.m., a Peabody Street woman called police to report that her hand cart was stolen from in front of her house.
  • At 7:01 p.m., police responded to a fight on Orange Street.
  • At 7:50 p.m., a man called police to report that his wallet was stolen from an unsecured locker at the YMCA on Leggs Hill Road. 
  • At 8:46 p.m., a Jackson Street woman called police to complain about a nearby house that has wild animals living inside of it.

Friday, Sept. 20

  • At 12:09 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Boston and Bridge streets. Kruti V. Kansara, 23, of 16 Roosevelt Ave., Peabody, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 4:13 a.m., police responded to a report of a truck playing loud music on Chase Street.
  • At 9:37 a.m., police responded to a road rage incident on Pioneer Terrace.
  • At 9:51 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Derby Street.
  • At 10:19 a.m., police responded to a report of a man walking in the middle of the road on Bridge Street. Garrett R. Evans, 25, of 2203 Broughton Drive, Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 10:51 a.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Congress Street.
  • At 11:28 a.m., police responded to a report of a person being threatened with a knife on Salem Street.
  • At 11:54 a.m., police responded to a past shoplifting incident at the CVS on Essex Street.
  • At 12:11 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious people in a playground area on First Street.
  • At 12:21 p.m., a Palmer Street resident called police to report that the tires on three vehicles were slashed overnight.
  • At 1:06 p.m., a Palmer Street resident called police to report that their tires were slashed overnight.
  • At 1:32 p.m., a Palmer Street resident called police to report that their tires were slashed overnight.
  • At 2:41 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Market Basket on Highland Avenue. Carolina I. Lopez, 30, of 127 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested on charges of shoplifting merchandise valued above $250 and providing a false name to police.
  • At 3:17 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Walmart on Highland Avenue.
  • At 3:23 p.m., police responded to a road rage incident near the intersection of New Derby and Washington streets.
  • At 3:31 p.m., police responded to a dispute on Orne Square.
  • At 3:37 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Pickman Road.
  • At 3:39 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Dow Street.
  • At 4:11 p.m., a Marion Road resident called police to report that their glass front door had been smashed.
