Salem Police Make Warrant Arrest on Bridge Street

Tuesday, April 8:

  • At 4:33 p.m., police made an arrest on Bridge Street. John H. Smith, 44, of 91 Cabot St., Beverly, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 6:27 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Rainbow Terrace.
  • At 7:53 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Federal Street.
  • At 9:10 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious man selling items on Essex Street.
  • At 9:20 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Oak Street.
  • At 10:48 p.m., police responded to a trash picking complaint on Vale Street.

Wednesday, April 9

  • At 3:33 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Bridge Street.
  • At 8:24 a.m., police responded to a past domestic dispute on Farrell Court.
  • At 10:52 a.m., police responded to a dispute on Highland Avenue.
  • At 10:57 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on East Collins Street.
  • At 11:25 a.m., police responded to a scamming attempt on Roosevelt Road.
  • At 1:01 p.m., a loose chihuahua was picked up by the animal control officer near the intersection of Summer and Mt. Vernon streets. The animal was returned to its owner.
  • At 1:22 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Essex Street.
  • At 3:56 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Highland and Oakland streets.
