Salem Man Charged With Indecent Assault

The following information was submitted by the Salem Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.


The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 


Friday, March 28

  • At 8:36 p.m., police made an arrest on Roslyn Street. Luis Gomez Jr., 20, of 6 Roslyn St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 10:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a woman causing a disturbance on  Margin Street.
  • At 10:38 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Essex Street.
  • At 10:50 p.m., police made an arrest near the intersection of Washington and New Derby streets. Sean D. Nguyen, 28, of 2 Aborn St., Peabody, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrants.
  • At 11:47 p.m., a Bay View Avenue resident called police to report someone throwing rocks at his house.

Saturday, March 29:

  • At 12:34 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Becket Street.
  • At 12:41 a.m., police responded to a dispute between customers on North Street.
  • At 1:04 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Buffum Street.
  • At 1:46 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Canal Street.
  • At 8:54 a.m., police responded to a report of loose dogs on Clifton Avenue.
  • At 11:00 a.m., police responded to a past sexual assault near the intersection of Washington and Harbor streets.
  • At 2:55 a.m., an officer disposed of a hypodermic needle on Norman Street.
  • At 4:44 p.m., police made an arrest on Washington Street. Ryan W. Hussey, 30, of 33 Japonica St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.

Other Arrests 

Robert A. Jeffrey, 27, of 2 Arlington Road, Woburn, was arrested for reportedly having three outstanding warrants.

Ronald H. Talbot, 57, of 335 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older.
