Salem Dunkin' Donuts Manager Accused of Stealing Cash

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 

Thursday, Jan. 23

  • At 2:16 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Holyoke Square.
  • At 2:19 p.m., police made an arrest on Parlee Street. Jose Quirindongo-Rivera, 25, of 172 Marlborough Road, Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 4:13 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Weatherly Drive.
  • At 5:34 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Farrell Court.
  • At 6:25 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on School Street.
  • At 8:19 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Central Street.
  • At 9:05 p.m., police responded to a reported sexual assault on Boston Street.
  • At 9:51 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Central Street.
  • At 9:57 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Essex Street.
  • At 10:23 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Beckford Street.
  • At 11:03 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Bridge Street. Hugo Garcia, 32, of 740 Boston St., Lynn, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 11:09 p.m., police responded to a report of a loud band at In a Pig's Eye on Derby Street.

Friday, Jan. 24

  • At 1:41 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Margin Street.
  • At 2:55 a.m., police responded to a report of loud music on First Street.
  • At 9:28 a.m., police responded to a dispute between a landlord and tenant on Boston Street.
  • At 10:30 a.m., police responded to a dispute on Harbor Street.
  • At 11:00 a.m., Salem State University police made an arrest on Margin Street. Caitlin Berner, 18, of 112 Bancroft Ave., Reading, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
  • At 11:53 a.m., the owner of the Dunkin' Donuts on Canal Street called police to report that an ex-manager stole a $6,209 deposit. A warrant was issued.
  • At 12:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Washington Street.
  • At 2:42 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Fort Avenue.
  • At 3:09 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Cabot Street.
  • At 3:12 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Ace Hardware on Lafayette Street. A manager told police someone stole two change containers for the Children's Miracle Network.
  • At 4:06 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Highland Avenue.
  • At 4:37 p.m., police conducted a search warrant on Irving Street. The resident was arrested when police reportedly found 60 grams of cocaine. Click Here for our full story.
