Salem Woman Charged With 'Abandonment of a Child'

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 

Thursday, June 19

  • At 4:11 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on North Street.
  • At 5:04 p.m., police made an arrest on Washington Square West. Nicholas W. Lemoine, 27, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 5:18 p.m., police responded to a report of possible animal abuse on Hodges Court.
  • At 7:11 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen phone on Palmer Street.
  • At 9:49 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity near the intersection of Arbella and Warner streets.
  • At 11:29 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Lafayette Street. Alycia E. Hagen, 31, of 135 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of abandonment of a child under 10.

Friday, June 20

  • At 12:37 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Laurel Street.
  • At 8:54 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Belleview Avenue.
  • At 9:26 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Franklin Street.
  • At 12:17 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Lee Fort Terrace.
  • At 3:40 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting complaint on Loring Avenue.

Other Arrests

Ruben J. Boccetti, 25, of 266 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, providing a false name to police and for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.

Joseph T. Fiandaca, 23, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
