Salem Teen Arrested on Drag Racing Charge

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:

Monday, Nov. 11

  • At 4:21 p.m., police transported a woman from the Danvers Police Department. Belinda Todisco, 21, of 30 Walter St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 6:44 p.m., police responded to a custody dispute on Hancock Street.
  • At 11:24 p.m., police responded to a fight in a parking lot on East Collins Street.
  • At 11:42 p.m., police from Salem and Beverly responded to a report of a man on the Veterans Memorial Bridge.
Tuesday, Nov. 12

  • At 12:58 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Union Street. 
  • At 11:08 a.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Lafayette Street.
  • At 2:50 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Memorial Drive.
  • At 4:42 p.m., police responded to a dispute on Canal Street. 
Other Arrests:

Angel Cruz-Santana, 19, of 38 Salem St., Salem, was arrested on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and drag racing.

William Higgins, 41, of 12 Magnolia Way, Peabody, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
