Copper Downspouts Reported Stolen on Chestnut Street

Thursday, Dec. 5
:

  • At 3:02 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the CVS on Highland Avenue. Susan T. Bradshaw, 41, of 71 Kingsdale St., Dorchester, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise by concealment, third offense.
  • At 4:28 p.m., police made an arrest on Margin Street.
  • At 4:56 p.m., police made an arrest on Margin Street. Christopher Burque, 46, of 56 Margin St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 5:32 p.m., police responded to a dispute between landlord and tenant on Cabot Street.
  • At 6:09 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Heritage Drive.
  • At 6:15 p.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Bridge Street. Paul P. Raby, 38, of 107 Broadway St., Salem, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
  • At 6:59 p.m., police responded to a report of a man looking into windows on Fairview Road.
  • At 7:49 p.m., police responded to a fight in the street near the intersection of Boston and Proctor streets.
  • At 9:41 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Pioneer Terrace.
  • At 10:20 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on North Street.
  • At 11:43 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Highland Avenue.

Friday, Dec. 6

  • At 1:10 a.m., police responded to a loud house party on Hazel Street. Brandon J. LeBlanc, 22, of 19 Hazel St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.
  • At 1:56 a.m., police responded to a report of loud bangs on Rainbow Terrace.
  • At 3:56 a.m., police responded to a report of women yelling on Hardy Street. John F. Clarke Jr., 33, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 5:42 a.m., police responded to a sudden death on Cross Street.
  • At 9:18 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious package on Central Street.
  • At 9:28 a.m., police made an arrest near the East India Square Mall. Timothy T. Gay, 48, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 9:52 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Boston Street.
  • At 10:40 a.m., a Chestnut Street resident called police to report that someone stole some of their copper downspouts.
  • At 11:00 a.m., police responded to a past shoplifting incident on Front Street.
  • At 11:10 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Jefferson Avenue.
  • At 12:35 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Prince Street. 
  • At 1:31 p.m., the local animal control officer responded to a report of a raccoon on the beach on Collins Street.
  • At 2:29 p.m., police responded to a dispute between landlord and tenant on Harrison Avenue.
