Fight at Murphy's Pub Leads to Pair of Arrests

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 


Friday, Jan. 24

  • At 5:27 p.m., police responded to a reported fight on East India Square.
  • At 5:47 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Summit Avenue.
  • At 6:43 p.m., a Maple Street woman entered the police station to report that her vehicle was stolen from her driveway.
  • At 7:49 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Loring Avenue.

Saturday, Jan. 25:

  • At  12:05 a.m., police made an arrest on Margin Street. Cheryl A. Donahue, 43, of 111 Foster St., Peabody, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 1:16 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Heritage Drive.
  • At 10:35 a.m., police responded to a report of a loose dog near the intersection of West and Clifton avenues.
  • At 11:16 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Bridge Street. Everaldo R. Reis, 36, of 35 Chase St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 1:14 p.m., police made an arrest on Lafayette Street. Mark R. Langlois, 37, of 266 Washington St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.
  • At 1:57 p.m., police responded to a dispute between roommates on Loring Avenue.
  •  At 2:27 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Harmony Grove Road.
  • At 7:10 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Washington Street.
  • At 7:16 p.m., police and fire units responded to a reported stove fire on Felt Street. The fire was extinguished by local firefighters.
  • At 11:36 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Monroe Street.

Sunday, Jan. 26

  • At 12:59 a.m., police responded to a fight at Murphy's Pub and Restaurant on Derby Street. Dina-Marie Gorynski, 23, of 374 Chatham St., Lynn, was arrested on two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (beer bottle). Andrew M. Deleary, 24, of 16 Oak Point Road, Saugus, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
  • At 1:40 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Canal Street.
  • At 11:47 a.m., police responded to a custody dispute on South Street.
  • At 12:42 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Derby Street.
  • At 12:48 p.m., a woman at St. John the Baptist Church on Bridge Street called police to report that her pocketbook was stolen.
  • At 1:32 p.m., police responded to a report of women fighting on Park Street.
  • At 2:18 p.m., a North Street man called police to report that all four of his tires had been slashed overnight.
  • At 3:58 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Park Street.
  • At 4:37 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Whalers Lane.
Other Arrest

Roberto Landrau-Ramos, 34, of 231 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise by concealment.
