Hit-and-Run Accident Reported on Forrester Street

Sunday, March 16

  • At 2:37 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Pope Street.
  • At 4:23 p.m., police made an arrest on Boston Street. Kathleen Burgess, 53, of 43 Boston St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 5:05 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Norman Street.
  • At 5:32 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Canal Street.
  • At 6:42 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Pingree Street.
  • At 7:44 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Essex Street. 
  • At 8:27 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Pingree Street.

Monday, March 17:
 
  • At 1:11 a.m., police responded to an animal complaint on Jefferson Avenue.
  • At 1:22 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Courageous Court.
  • At 7:27 a.m., police made an arrest on Lafayette Street. Shawn J. Finnegan, 35, of 116 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 8:19 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Essex Street.
  • At 9:37 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Highland Avenue.
  • At 9:51 a.m., police responded to a past hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Forrester Street.
  • At 12:17 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on First Street.
  • At 1:03 p.m.,. police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Hillside Avenue.
  • At 2:15 p.m., police responded to a report of past threats on Lafayette Street.
  • At 4:31 p.m., police responded to an animal complaint on Carlton Street. 
Other Arrest

Vincent G. Delgado, 47, of 117 Lafayette St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery and for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
