Police: Salem Man Found Passed Out Behind the Wheel

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log: 


Friday, Feb. 14

  • At 4:05 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Bertuccio Avenue.
  • At 4:19 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on First Street. One person was placed into protective custody.
  • At 4:41 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Cushing St reet.
  • At 5:26 p.m., police responded to a report of identity fraud on Bridge Street.
  • At 7:34 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk man on a bus on Bridge Street. One man was placed into protective custody.
  • At 10:52 p.m., police responded to a report of two women fighting on Lafayette Street. 
  • At 10:58 p.m., police responded to a fireworks complaint on Pope Street.
  • At 11:10 p.m., police made an arrest on Salem Street. Alex R. Ledford, 18, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having two outstanding warrants.

Saturday, Feb. 15:

  • At 12:18 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Lawrence Street.
  • At 12:55 a.m., police checked on a pair of dogs left in a vehicle on Cherry Street.
  • At 1:38 a.m., police responded to a loud party on Roslyn Street.
  • At 1:47 a.m., police responded to a loud party on Lafayette Street.
  • At 2:24 a.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Palmer Street. 
  • At 2:56 a.m., police responded to a loud party on Carlton Street.
  • At 2:57 a.m., police responded to a report of a man passed out in a running vehicle on West Avenue. Scott J. Marino, 29, of 16 Gardner St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
  • At 5:31 a.m., police responded to a loud party on North Street. 
  • At 8:19 a.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Highland Avenue.
  • At 11:23 a.m., police responded to an assault on Bridge Street. Nasso N. Moutsoulas, 36, of 71 Bridge St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
  • At 1:51 p.m., police responded to a past hit-and-run on Moffatt Road.
  • At 4:19 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Traders Way. Joanna Peralta, 36, of 10 Simon St., Beverly, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting merchandise by concealment, third offense.
  • At 4:52 p.m., police responded to a dispute on Mason Street.
  • At 5:03 p.m., police responded to a sudden death on Cushing Street.
  • At 6:11 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Daniels Street.
  • At 6:17 p.m., police responded to a past larceny on Nichols Street.
  • At 7:26 p.m., police responded to a disturbance between neighbors on Watson Street.
  • At 8:15 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Essex Street.
  • At 8:36 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Beaver Street.
  • At 8:54 p.m., police responded to a report of a woman passed out in a vehicle on Dove Street. Michelle C. Delucia, 49, of 3233 Crane Brook Way, Peabody, was arrested on charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • At 9:44 p.m., police responded to a road rage incident on North Street.
  • At 10:41 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Mason Street. 
  • At 11:35 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Cedar Street.

Sunday, Feb. 16

  • At 12:26 a.m., police responded to a loud party on Lafayette Street. 
  • At 12:55 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Lafayette Street.
  • At 2:36 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Bridge Street.
  • At 3:02 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on First Street. 
  • At 6:19 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on North Street.
  • At 12:32 p.m., police responded to an arrest near the intersection of Lafayette and Dow streets. Stephanie M. Candido, 22, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 12:51 p.m., police responded to the CVS on Highland Avenue for a report of someone trying to pass a false prescription. A warrant will be issued.
  • At 2:47 p.m., police made an arrest on Boston Street. Michelle A. Cote, 41, of the streets of Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 4:12 p.m., police responded to a report of a past dog bite on Highland Avenue.
  • At 4:31 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Highland Avenue.
  • At 4:32 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Highland Avenue.
  • At 5:38 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Bridge Street.
  • At 6:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk man in the roadway on Boston Street.
  • At 10:10 p.m., police attempted to stop a motor vehicle near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Swampscott Road but the driver fled the scene and crashed in Lynn. Two people reportedly fled the scene on foot. A summons was issued for Keon Dow on charges of failure to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle to endanger and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.
  • At 6:59 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Memorial Drive.
  • At 9:06 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Pioneer Terrace.
  • At 10:29 a.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident on Highland Avenue. Jolyssa Gustave, 19, of 15 Lyman St., Lynn, was arrested on charges of shoplifting merchandise valued above $100, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. A juvenile was also arrested.
  • At 3:21 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Roslyn Street.

Other Arrests


Michelle Mastropietro, 27, of 26 Gardner St., Salem, was placed into protective custody.

Dinora Miranda, 25, of 20 Salem St., Lynn, was arrested on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
