Sunday, April 6

  • At 4:06 p.m., police responded to a report of kids throwing rocks at cars on Jackson Street.
  • At 6:06 p.m., police responded to a past hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Phillips Street.
  • At 8:31 p.m., police responded to a report of people in a vacant apartment on Park Street.
  • At 8:44 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Derby Street.
  • At 9:37 p.m., police responded to a report of threats of Peabody Street.
  • At 10:15 p.m., police responded to a reported campfire in the woods on Grove Street. The Salem Fire Department was notified.

Monday, April 7

  • At 12:37 a.m., police responded to a past larceny on Pope Street.
  • At 6:51 a.m., police responded to a trash dumping complaint on Broadway.
  • At 9:21 a.m., police made an arrest on Jefferson Avenue. Peter B. Turco, 36, of 29 Cherry St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 11:04 a.m., police responded to an attempted car break-in on Alba Avenue.
  • At 12:58 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Highland Avenue.
  • At 1:48 p.m., police received a report of a counterfeit $100 bill being passed at the Tavern on the Square.
  • At 3:02 p.m., police made an arrest on North Street. Jesse L. Deavilla, 29, of 47 Leavitt St., Salem, was arrested for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
  • At 3:14 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on March Street.
  • At 3:48 p.m., police responded to an industrial accident on Derby Street. A car reportedly fell off of a lift at Goodyear Tire. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified.
  • At 4:13 p.m., police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle on Ropes Street.
