Salem Police Investigating Robbery at Kushco Bistro

Salem detectives are looking for a man who reportedly robbed Kushco Bistro in downtown Salem Sunday afternoon. 

At 4:55 p.m., police responded to a reported unarmed robbery at the 128 Washington St. business.

An employee told responding officers that a man wearing a Red Sox jersey handed her a note demanding that she empty the cash register and fled the cafe with the tip jar containing approximately $30, according to this morning's police log post. 

The robber was described as being a white male in his 20's, approximately 5' 9" and 170-pounds, with short brown hair.
