Salem Police Arrest Park Street Pair on Drug, Gun Charges
Two Salem residents are accused of selling heroin, cocaine and marijuana out of their home on Park Street.
Two Salem residents were arrested Friday afternoon after a search warrant executed by local police led to the discovery of large amounts of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and three loaded guns.
At 2:21 p.m., Salem police executed a search warrant at 42 Park St. and reportedly found more than 100 grams of heroin, more than 80 grams of cocaine, more than four ounces of marijuana, three loaded handguns and "proceeds and tools of the drug trade," according to tonight's police log post.
Roberto C. Padilla, 25, of 42 Park St., Salem, was arrested on charges of trafficking cocaine, trafficking heroin, possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, three counts of possessing a firearm without an FID card, subsequent offense, three counts of unlawful storage of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Sasha S. Pimental, 20, of 42 Park St., Salem, was arrested on charges of trafficking cocaine, trafficking heroin, possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, three counts of possessing a firearm without an FID card, subsequent offense, three counts of unlawful storage of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Padilla and Pimental are expected to be arraigned Monday morning at Salem District Court.
